Welcome to the Englewood Elementary School Library
Englewood Library Policies
Students will check out books one day per week during their class "Library/Technology Lesson." Students who are absent on their library day can request specific books for the librarian check out and deliver to them.
Remote students may request books via Schoology or by email. Remote students can keep books for two weeks.
Students are allowed to check out five books for the week. The books will be overdue after two weeks. However, if a student needs additional time to read the book, he/she may recheck the book.
Meet Mrs. Thompson
My name is Jaime Thompson, and I am the library media specialist at Englewood. I am starting my 23rd year in education, with 17 of those years serving as the library media specialist at EES and the other six years as a fifth and third grade teacher at EES. Helping students develop a love of reading is my primary goal. I also strive to make learning fun and for the library to be a place students want to visit.
